Unit converter
Type an amount in any unit to see it in all the others. Add your vial and water to convert between weight (mcg, mg) and volume (mL, syringe units).
To convert between weight and volume, add your mix:
How it works
mcg and mg are both weights: 1 mg is 1,000 mcg. mL and syringe units are both volumes: 1 mL is 100 units on a U-100 syringe. Moving between a weight and a volume needs the strength of your mix, which comes from the vial and the water you added.
Watch for the thousand-fold slip: 0.25 mg and 250 mcg are the same, but 250 mg is a thousand times more.
This tool does arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not suggest or check doses. Your dose and how to mix it come from your healthcare professional.
